1) Develop/deliver a digital strategy that increases customer engagement & enhances online sales
2) Develop strong working partnerships with Business Divisions, Marketing, Provincial Operations, IT, eGovernance committee and all other relevant stakeholders.
3) Build a strong knowledge of the customer and use this knowledge for usability testing results, web analytics, MIS reporting, CRM, social media and periodic customer feedback. Standardize and institutionalize use of KPI’s for digital processes & campaigns.
4) Simplify, automate and promote online processes to increase engagement and adoption of self-service channels and capabilities. Develop effective & efficient digital process design, and execute tactics and marketing campaigns to drive customer adoption and engagement.
5) Create and manage online marketing services which can be used by through our operations to maintain an effective, consistent online presence and extend our marketing and branding reach.
6) Support the development and management of digital content on all platforms to ensure relevance and usefulness with customers. Develop and ensure established standards are adhered to, content and tools are relevant and useful, easy to find, and that key messages are appropriately and consistently incorporated.
7) Develop deep understanding of industry, monitor competitor and benchmark best practice activity/new technology. Identify market gaps and opportunities across multiple platforms.
8) Oversee the partnerships with eCommerce 3rd party suppliers & partners to ensure best possible commercial, financial & legal outcomes are negotiated.
1. A bachelor degree or greater in computer information systems, business administration, software engineering or computer science
2. Proven experience in leading a successful e-commerce business, with exposure to website and micro website development, utilizing social media to build awareness, application development and other technology related experience
3. Demonstrated ability to identify critical business issues, design digital strategies that effectively address those issues, commit to and produce actionable results. Ability to combine customer-based information with understanding of the industry and company to create insights and influence idea development and decision-making processes.
4. Ability to build cooperative, productive relationships with internal clients and vendors and interact effectively with all levels of management.
5. Strong command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin
6. Familiarity with latest technologies and trends including, web 2.0, rich media and social networking
